Frequently Asked Questions

We are a full-service agency, which means we can pretty much do anything that is design or marketing related, including brand creation, websites and signage. You can find a list of our services here.

Yes. We have lots of images of our projects across our social media accounts and website. If you would like to see particular types of work, for example, websites, please feel free to contact us.

Our client-centred approach is calm and methodical, using processes that we have honed over 20 years in business to meet deadlines and optimise outcomes. The steps include discovery, strategy, creative, approval, and completion.

1. Discovery

The process starts with a creative brief. This step identifies critical information for a successful creative outcome, including the USP (unique selling point), target market, competitors, tone, and challenges. For large jobs, like new brands, campaigns and websites, we write up the creative brief for approval, to ensure everyone is on the same page before we embark.

2. Strategy

Strategy includes thinking about the outcomes of the discovery and developing creative ideas and direction. This may include a mood board, creative method or competitive advantage.

3. Creative

This step uses all design elements to formulate a piece of material. We bring together all the assets, including colour, composition, typography, images, and copy.

4. Approval

Designs are presented for client review, feedback, and approval. We work with you to finetune the outcome and ensure you are happy with the final product.

5. Completion

This comes in many forms depending on the nature of the project. For example, going live with a website, managing the production of a printed piece, or supplying the final video of an animation. We take deadlines very seriously, and can roll out complete rebrands with every element considered for both convenience and seamless execution.

You can contact us via phone, email or through our website.

Or if you know what you want and are ready to go, you can submit one of our online briefing forms. For larger projects like new brands and websites, please see our briefing form here. For smaller projects, where you already have an established brand in place, see the questions here.

Every job is assigned a key job number, this number will be consistent across all communication, artwork, and accounting. This allows jobs to be very easily tracked by all parties involved, and clearly identified in the future if any artwork needs updating or reprinting. All final art is managed tightly by us and stored securely on a cloud server. We keep an archive of all jobs.

If you need to send us images or videos that are too large for email, we can set up a Dropbox folder for you. You can also use WeTransfer or a Google Drive.

Yes, our services are across both print and digital, from brochures and product packaging to EDM campaigns and animation.

Yes, we design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, that are optimised to best practice. Our process considers visual experience, story telling, accessibility, SEO, and UI & UX design. We can host your website on our secure Australian server, and offer ongoing monthly website management to ensure your website stays secure and up to date.

Yes, we are always happy to chat about your challenges, the outcomes you’re looking for and offer advice on how we can add value. If we genuinely don’t think we can help you, we will let you know. If we can help you, we can map out a plan of action from objectives to deliverables.

Yes, we offer retainers. These are best suited to businesses that have a regular and ongoing need for design and marketing material. We align ourselves as your design department – either to support your existing marketing team, or to lead the way on major campaigns and projects. We are always at the ready to action and complete your jobs. From ads and brochures to signage, a retainer will see a list of jobs completed efficiently and professionally each month. Prior to engaging on retainer, we do prefer to work together on at least one project first, to ensure we’re the right people for you and your team, and vice versa.

We offer various ways in which you can engage our services:

We currently have brand, website and social media packages. Each package has three options so you can choose one that best fits your needs and budget.

Once we have a brief, we can scope the project and provide a quote for your approval before proceeding.

If you require ongoing design and marketing support, we can work on retainer, starting from 20 hours per month. These include a monthly meeting to touch base on all active projects, and a detailed timesheet at the conclusion of every month. We are transparent in all of our communications and actions, so you can see exactly where our time has been allocated.

We have an intentional structure designed to break down the walls between creative and the client. This means most of the time you will deal directly with the talented creative working on your task. It makes the process more efficient because you can bypass sales or account managers. You can also speak directly to our creative director, Sarah O’Bryan. We have a long term and stable team, who all work closely together to meet your unique needs. We are all creatives, from designers and writers to developers. It is important to us, to know every client, brand and project in detail.

Yes, we can oversee your project all the way through to completion from printing, signage, event material and large-scale installations with our tried and trusted suppliers.  If you would prefer to organise your own production, we can supply your final artwork in a format for that purpose.

Yes, for large projects we can invoice in two parts, halfway and on completion.

The timeframe depends on the scope of the project. For large projects we can supply a timeline with critical dates. As a small team, we are nimble and we work quite efficiently. If you do have a particular deadline, like an event, we are always happy to see if this is achievable.

We’d love to hear from you. We have local, state, national and international clients. Most communication is via email, so your location doesn’t impact the process. If an in-person meeting is not viable, we can meet via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet.

Yes, we have created and implemented successful marketing campaigns for a wide variety of companies, so are well equipped to work with you to increase brand awareness, sales or whatever your business goal is.
